Korea Zinc reports 6.5% drop in Q3 operating profit despite revenue surge

Korea Zinc Inc. on Tuesday reported its third-quarter net income of 152.8 billion won (US$109.2 million), up 96.5 percent from a year earlier.

Operating profit for the July-September period was 150 billion won,
down 6.5 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Revenue rose 39.8 percent to 3.2 trillion won.
